Today, the YMCA Nelson Mandela Bay team led the session, where various stakeholders—MIET Africa, LoveLife, and Ekuphumuleni Community Project—graced us with their presence. We shared our vision and mission for our advocacy project and discussed future collaborations. During this session, Anele also gained a better glimpse into our stakeholder pool, strengthening our understanding of potential partnerships.
Our project aims to provide better access to SRHR information and services for young people. This is crucial because many young people face barriers to accessing accurate information and essential healthcare services, which directly impact their well-being, autonomy, and future opportunities.
We look forward to these collaborations, not only because they will have a positive impact on our communities but also because our missions align. A heartfelt thank you to our stakeholders for their time, insights, and commitment to this cause—we appreciate your support and dedication!
Now is the time to stand up and fight for our rights. Our voices matter because human rights are not a favour—they are rights enshrined in our Constitution!
